Meer informatie: In an air attack in the port of Broome, Australia, on March 3, 1942 by Japanese fighter planes 53 Dutch people were killed. They stood among others aboard flying boats of the Royal Navy. Of 25 people the body could not be retrieved. Among them were 10 members of the staff of the Royal Navy.
