The 7th Armoured Division now advanced on three lines, with 1st RTR going east to Heiden, then north to Ramsdorf, while 5th RTR went towards Borken, north of the Raesfeld-Brunen road. In the centre the Inniskilling's and DLI were sent to tackle Borken from the south.
