The Light Equipage Platoon provided rafts, outboard motors, and outboard motor operators to "A" Company of the 61st Engr. C. Bn to assist them in experimental work on Floating Boom Cables in preparation for the Rhine River Crossing.
The Light Equipage Platoon conducted refresher training in Infantry Support Raft and Infantry Footbridge construction on the Meuse River.
