74 aircraft; all were recalled because of worsening weather. 10 aircraft did not receive the signal and bombed alternative targets; none reached Berlin. 3 Wellingtons and 1 Whitley were lost and 12 more aircraft crashed in England.
FRANKFURT
34 aircraft dispatched but were recalled; some flew on and bombed Frankfurt. No aircraft lost but 3 crashed in England.
OSTEND
28 'freshmen' crews dispatched without loss.
