Hamburg reports a sharp raid with 10 fires (5 large) and 16 people killed. 6 Hampdens resumed the minelaying campaign by mining the Langelands channel in Denmark, no losses.

HAMBURG, FRANCE
24 Wellingtons and 17 Whitleys attacked troops and communications in France. 24 Hampdens were sent to Hamburg for bombing and minelaying in the River Elbe. 15 of 18 aircraft reported bombing their targets. Hamburg reports 5 fires, 16 people killed and 7 injured. Only 2 of the 6 minelaying aircraft carried out their task.
There were no losses from any of these operations.
