Context: During the journey, the prisoners sat on the floor while SS men stood guard over them with machine guns. The transport reached Auschwitz on the same day. For a short time he was held in a prison in Sosnowiec. On 6 July 1940, he was transferred to Auschwitz concentration camp. (to 1945 director the museum in Auschwitz).
