On Thursday, 27 August 1942, (a part of) the aircraft of the 142 squadron (RAF), took off for a mission to Kassel in Germany from a station (airfield) in or near Grimsby.
One of the crew members was Flying Officer A H Paget. He departed for his mission at 20:30.
He flew with a Vickers Wellington (type IV, with serial Z1338 and code QT-D). His mission and of the other crew members was planned for Friday, 28 August 1942.

Four crew originaly buried cologne south cemetery on 29th august. Re-intered 1946 rhineburg war cemetery.
