At the date of 13-05-1940, time: 0650, the aircraft type Defiant has been lost. The location of the plane was found at: Oosterhout (Oosteind-Rijnsdijk).
Departed from Martlesham Heath at 5:30 for Recc between IJmuiden - The Hague.
First contact with JU-87 (later assisted by 12 ME-109 of JG-26) near Alblasserdam. Every Defiant in this patrol was shot down.
