60 aircraft. Only 23 aircraft reported bombing primary targets, starting a large fire, but Cologne has no record of bombs. The fire was probably a decoy. 1 Halifax lost.
Minor Operations: 34 aircraft to Le Havre, 21 to Brest, 5 Hampdens minelaying off Kiel. 2 Hampdens were lost, 1 each on the Le Havre and Kiel raids.
